I’m Kriss Rozenstoks - based in Tallinn 🇪🇪, originally from Riga 🇱🇻, and usually happiest somewhere between a hard product problem and a good run outside.

I’m interested in technology - especially ML/AI systems - building useful products, and scaling the teams that make those products real. If you’re thinking about applied ML, fintech, product strategy, team growth or just want to compare notes, please drop me a message.

Work

Right now I work at Wise on risk assessment infrastructure and ML: the platforms, signals, and product loops that help keep Wise safe, fast, and useful while keeping bad actors at bay. It is a fun mix of product, data, engineering, UX and operational judgement - exactly the kind of high-scale, high-impact problem I like.

Before that, I spent few years at Ocado Technology in London 🇬🇧 building systems to orchestrate 1000’s of robots to bring weekly groceries to people around the world. The interesting part was not only the robotics and scale, but making extremely complex automated systems legible to the humans responsible for running them.

I have also spent time in start-ups, where I learned a lot about moving quickly, solving ambiguous problems, working with customers, and translating ideas into something investors and teams can actually believe in.

Education

My academic background is in Biomedical Engineering and Physics. That mix shaped how I think: understand the system, measure what matters, build a model, test it, and keep iterating.

Fun

Outside work, I like running 🏃‍♂️ and most outdoorsy things - follow along on Strava if you are into that. I also read a lot and keep a rolling list on Goodreads. Books, long runs, and dogs are a pretty reliable way to reset the brain.
